Look what I went and did!
Is that cool, or what?
I’ve collected a combination of the best and latest Rots I’ve been painting and drawing, and they’ll all be shown at a new exhibit opening next month.
Here’s the event page on Facebook.
And here are the details:
August 19-November 6, 2016
Places & People will be a joint exhibit with my husband, Stuart Thompson, who will be exhibiting oil on canvas, clay wall pieces and free-standing clay. I will be showing The Rots in both paintings and drawings.
Hours of Operation:
Tuesday-Friday: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Saturday-Sunday: 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Closed Mondays and holidays
(Please excuse the distortion on these “in-progress” images; I’m using Photoshop’s Photomerge, and it hasn’t been doing that well of a job. When I get to the final images, I’ll make sure everything is in proportion and lined up properly.)
Ready for painting!
The Montana Skatepark Association is once again trusting me with one of their skateboards for On Deck 9. I’ve decided to step outside the box this year and do a little woodwork before I start painting, and I’m a little nervous about that. One skateboard; no room for mistakes.
Hey, it makes life interesting.
Here’s my sketch. The working title is Unipus.
Painted with ArtRage on my iPad. (This is my first ArtRage painting; give me a break.)
